Signs of Possible Foundation Problems

Foundation concerns can show up in more than one part of a home. A pattern of symptoms is often more informative than a single cosmetic defect.

Cracks

New, widening or unusual cracks in foundation walls, basement walls or masonry may justify evaluation, particularly when accompanied by movement elsewhere.

Uneven floors
